Petrel Lake is a lake on the west side of Hydrographers Cove, on the Fildes Peninsula of King George Island, the largest of the South Shetland Islands in the British Antarctic Territory.

Following surveys by the Soviet Antarctic Expedition from 'Bellingshausen Station' from 1968, the lake was called Ozero Al'batros, meaning 'Lake Albatross'; later named Ozero Burevestnik meaning 'Lake Petrel', from which also comes an alternative name, 'Lake Burevestnik'.
