Gale Ridge runs north-west to south-east in the Neptune Range, part of the Pensacola Mountains of Queen Elizabeth Land in the British Antarctic Territory. It extends twelve nautical miles northwestward from Mount Dover and rises at its highest to 4,085 feet at Mount Cowart.

Ths ridge was photographed from the air by the United States Navy in 1964 and surveyed from the ground on the United States Geological Survey Pensacola Mountains Project, 1965-66. It is named after Phillip E. Gale, the United States Antarctic Research Program meteorologist, 'Ellsworth Station', winter 1962.
