Mount Dover climbs to 5,400 feet on the Washington Escarpment within the Neptune Range of the Pensacola Mountains of Queen Elizabeth Land in the British Antarctic Territory.
This mountain was surveyed from the ground by the United States Geological Survey, 1963-64, and photographed from the air by the United States Navy in 1964. It is named after James H. Dover, the United States Geological Survey geologist in Patuxent Range, summer 1962-63.
