Mount Hummer stands on the south-west side of the head of Chambers Glacier, rising to 5,610 feet at the north-east end of the Saratoga Table within the Forrestal Range of the Pensacola Mountains in Queen Elizabeth Land in the British Antarctic Territory.
The mountain was photographed from the air by the United States Navy in 1964; following field work by the United States Geological Survey from 1965, named after Dr Michael G. Hummer, of Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, physician, 'South Pole Station', 1975.
