Near Pomeroy
Towards the Mountains of Pomeroy from Altmore

Mountains of Pomeroy are a range of hills that runs west of the town of Pomeroy in the middle of Tyrone. The area around the hills is scenic, with a variety of moorland, forestry and rural farming, and the hills are spread with hill farms and gorse-covered heathland.

The hills are recalled in the ballad The Mountains of Pomeroy by Dr George Sigerson (and which is used as the club anthem of Tyrone GAA).[1]
