Mattingley is a village in Hampshire, on the road from Reading (across in Berkshire to Hook in Hampshire.
The village has one pub, named the Leather Bottle.
Church
The parish church is simply called 'Mattingley Church', and is now part of the Whitewater Benefice.
The church is a remarkable timber framed church, of the 14th Century. Between the timbers is a brick nogging in a herringbone design, using bricks which were made locally on Hazelly Heath.
The church is a Grade I listed building.[1]
