Kingston is a small village on the Isle of Wight, Hampshire, located five miles south-west of the island's main town, Newport. It is in the south-west of the island, in an area known as the Back of the Wight.

The village has a church, St James' Church, which once presided over its own parish.[1] The parish of Kingston is now though amalgamated with the adjacent Anglican parish of Shorwell, as Shorwell with Kingston.[2]
