Gundleton is a small village in Hampshire, to the south of Bighton, a village no bigger, and a mile and a half east of New Alresford. To the south is the restored Watercress Line, with a station in New Alresford..

During the Civil War, armies marched through as part of the Battle of Cheriton in 1644, a disastrous defeat for the King's men.
