Lettermacaward is a village in the Rosses area of County Donegal. The village, known colloquially as Leitir (pronounced letcher), sits between the larger towns of Glenties and Dungloe. It is within the Barony of Boylagh.[1]
The village has about 650 people, of whom 19% are Irish speakers.
The village has two shops, 'Clerkin's', a family run service station, and 'Gallagher's Stop & Shop'. There are 3 pubs; Elliott's, the Gweebarra Bar and Packie's Bar.
