Franklin Point is the south-western point of Intercurrence Island, the largest of the Christiania Islands in the Palmer Archipelago of the British Antarctic Territory.

The point was roughly charted by Foster in 1829 and named 'Cape Franklin' possibly after Captain Sir John Franklin (1786-1847), the British Arctic explorer. It was photographed from the air by the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition in 1956 and renamed 'Franklin Point'.
