Seefin is a mountain of 1,777 feet in the Galtee Mountains, in County Tipperary. It is to the south of the main ridge of the Galtees, at the edge of the range.
The name of this hill is found elsewhere across Ireland; it is from the Irish Suí Finn, meaning 'Finn's Seat', possibly a reference to the legendary giant, Finn McCool.
Seefin North Top
Listed separately in directories of the Galtess is Seefin's North Top, a summit reaching 1,457 feet above sea level to the north of the main summit.
