Dunderrow is a small village in County Cork, on the R605 road between Innishannon and Kinsale.
The name 'Dunderrow' is from the Irish Dún Darú, meaning 'Oak fort';[1] or 'fort of the oak-plain': the site of the ancient fort (dún) for which it is named is located to the south of the village.[2]
A biotechnology facility owned by Eli Lilly is situated near Dunderrow on 112 acres of land. It commenced operations in 1981.[3]
