Dakers Island is a small island, one of the Joubin Islands, off the south-west point of Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago of the British Antarctic Territory.

Following the work of United States Antarctic Research Program personnel from "Palmer Station" from 1965, the island was named after Hugh B. Dakers, cook in US RV Hero, which visited the station on her first Antarctic voyage in 1968.
