Douglas Crag
Douglas Crag is a crag 5,480 feet high, standing one nautical mile southeast of Mount Macklin at the south-east end of the Salvesen Range of South Georgia.
The cliff was surveyed by the South Georgia Survey in the period 1951–57, and named by the Antarctic Place-Names Committee for George Vibert Douglas, a Canadian geologist with the British expedition under Ernest Shackleton (the Shackleton-Rowett Expedition) of 1921–22, Professor of Geology, Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia 1932-57.
