Low Reef (also known as 'Low Rock') extends north-eastwards from the south-east point of Annenkov Island off South Georgia.

The terminal rock was named descriptively 'Low Rock' by Discovery Investigations in 1930. Following the South Georgia Survey of 1956-57, the whole feature was re-named 'Low Reef'.
