Study Beach

Study Beach is a beach to the south of Landing Beach, on the south shore of Bird Island, off the western point of South Georgia.

The feature has been used as a study location by the British Antarctic Survey staff at Bird Island Research Station since 1978. The name was unofficially adopted by the British Antarctic Survey staff when the site first came into use.
