Wanderer Valley runs north-eastwards from the head of Freshwater Inlet on the coast of Bird Island, an island off the west end of South Georgia.

The valley was named following the South Georgia Biological Expedition after the wandering albatross (Diomedea exulans) which breeds nearby.
