Payne Creek is a rocky inlet on the west coast of Bird Island, an island off the western point of South Georgia. It lies between Fairy Point and Goldcrest Point.

A stream runs from Geep Pond into the creek.

The creek was named after Michael Robert Payne (b. 1948), the British Antarctic Survey principal investigator on fur seals on Bird Island, 1971-74.
