Thrumpton is a village in Nottinghamshire, which at the 2011 census had a population of 165. Thrumpton stands beside the A453 road, six miles south-west of West Bridgford, Nottingham's southern extension.
The 13th century Church of All Saints is a Grade II* listed building. It was restored in 1871.[1]
Many of the gabled brick houses in the village were built between 1700 and 1745 by John Emerton of Thrumpton Hall.[2]
