Halam is a village in Nottinghamshire, with a population of 426 at the 2011 Census.

The village is located to the west of Southwell.

The parish church, St Michael the Archangel, was built in the 11th–12th centuries.[1] At the north end of the village is an 18th-century water mill, three storeys with a lean-to wheelhouse and adjoining cottage.[2]

The village pub is the Waggon & Horses: it claims to be the first 'carbon-neutral' pub in the United Kingdom and to have devised the Nottinghamshire Pie, created by its chef, Roy Wood.
