Church Langton is a small village is south-eastern Leicestershire. The parish church for the Langton villages is here.
Just to the south is East Langton and to the south-east, close to the county border, is Thorpe Langton.
Parish church
The parish church, St Peter's, stands in the heart of the village. Its tower is a landmark to travellers from the south, and the whole building is finely proportioned.[1]
The church has an organ given by William Hanbury, vicar for 25 years from 1753.[2]
