Limpet Island is the southernmost of the Léonie Islands, which lie in Ryder Bay off the south-east of Adelaide Island in the British Antarctic Territory.

Limpet was named following a survey by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from Stonington Island in October 1948, was named 'Limpet Islet' because of the large number of shells of Antarctic limpet (Nacella concinna) found there.
