Chase End Hill
Herefordshire, Worcestershire

Chase End Hill
Range: Malvern Hills
Summit: 627 feet SO760355

Chase End Hill is the hill at the southernmost end of the ridge of the Malvern Hills. Just as the northern end is marked by End Hill, so the southern end by Chase End Hill. Just like that of its northern counterpart, the summit of Chase End Hill is on the border of Herefordshire and Worcestershire. A trig point marks the summit.

The southern end of the Malvern Hills is far more gentle than the northern end, though Chase End Hill reaches a respectable 627 feet above sea level.

South of the hill, the Malvern ridge calms down and soon ends, its last hurrah in a rounded hill at Haye's Coppice (SO755347). To the east the Herefordshire hills are assertive, but on the Worcestershire side the land descends to the plains of the Seven Valley.
