Black Cirque is a corries at the north-east of Sloman Glacier, in the north-east of Adelaide Island in the British Antarctic Territory.

The cirque was named following survey by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from Adelaide, 1961-62, and geological work by the British Antarctic Survey, 1980-81; named after Eric Kenneth Prentice Back (b.1942), the British Antarctic Survey meteorological observer at Adelaide Station 1964-65, 1970-71, at Grytviken 1965-66, Rothera 1976-77; Base Commander at Signy 1974-75, Halley 1975-76, Faraday, 1977-78, Rothera, 1978-79.
