Cape Adriasola
Cape Adriasola is the south-western point of Adelaide Island in the British Antarctic Territory.
The cape was charted in January 1909 by the French Antarctic Expedition of 1908-10. They named it 'Cap Adriasola' after M. Adriasola, of Punta Arenas, who assisted the expedition. The name 'Cape Loubet' had previously been applied to an indefinite south-west point: later Adriasola Cape appears.
The feature was recharted by a Royal Navy Hydrographic Survey Unit from John Biscoe in 1963 and identified as a distinctive ice-cliffed cape.
