The Wright Peninsula extends between Stonehouse Bay and Ryder Bay in the south-east part of Adelaide Island in the British Antarctic Territory.

Following a survey by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from Adelaide, 1961-62, the peninsula was named after Alan Fredric Wright (b.1934), the British Antarctic Survey surveyor at Adelaide, 1961-63.
