Anchorage Island is an island amongst the Léonie Islands, that lie in Ryder Bay within the British Antarctic Territory. Anchorage itself lies half a nautical mile south-east of Lagoon Island, and off the southeast coast of Adelaide Island.
The island was reported by the French Antarctic Expedition of 1908-10 as possibly providing anchorage for a small ship, and named 'Anchor Island'. It was later named 'Anchorage Island' by the British Graham Land Expedition under Rymill, who visited the island in February 1936.
