Bampton, Westmorland

Bampton is a village in Westmorland, on the edge of the Lake District National Park. This was once a larger village, fed by 17th-century industry, but has since declined into a pretty Lakeland village.

The Haweswater Beck joins the River Lowther between Bampton and Bampton Grange. (Read more)
