Pitcairn: Nancy Stone marked off the southeast coast

Nancy Stone is a rock lying off the south-east coast of Pitcairn Island, the inhabited island of the Pitcairn Islands.

The rock is located off the coast between St Paul's Point and Down Rope. It is said to be named after Nancy, the English name of Toofaiti, the consort of Tararo who was taken by mutineer John Williams: this act initiated the massacre of most of the men of the island.
