Wapley is a rural village in Gloucestershire, a mile south of the conjoined towns of Chipping Sodbury and Yate, and north-east of the swollen suburbs of Bristol.

The parish church, St Peter is a Grade II* listed building.[1] It was built in the 13the century, with the top stage of the tower built in the 15th century. It underwent restoration in 1897 under C E Ponting.
