Neigham Castle is a ruined, Plantagenet-era castle standing alone in a field in County Kilkenny, near Gowran.
The castle was built at some time before 1487 by Sir James Butler of Polestown, Lord Deputy of Ireland (and the father of Piers Butler, the 8th Earl of Ormond). Neigham was given as a residence to Edmund or Theobald of Polestown, one of three illegitimate children Sir James had with Sabh Kavanagh before to they married.
The last known occupant, in 1661, was Thomas Butler, a son of the 1st Lord Galmoy.
The castle is now abandoned and in a ruinous state. It is not accessible to the public.
