The Bullsmouth Channel is a notorious sea channel separating the little island of Inishbiggle from Achill Island of the west coast of County Mayo. Passage in the channel is hazardous as it has one of the strongest tidal currents around the British Isles. In wintertime the island can be inaccessible because of this current.

The channel is named from the settlement of Bullsmouth, from where the ferry sails to Achill, when it is relatively safe to do so.
