Cape Vahsel is a headland which marks the south-eastern point of South Georgia.

The point was roughly charted by Captain James Cook in 1775. It was re-charted by the German Antarctic Expedition of 1911-12, and named by them Kap Vahsel after Captain Richard Vahsel, commanding the expedition ship Deutschland.
