Information

Berry Castle (sometimes known as 'Berry Camp') is a hillslope enclosure in the very west of Somerset. Characterised as a hill fort, it is believed to be a defended settlement of the early Roman period or possibly of the preceding Iron Age.[1]

The hill fort is to be found just over three miles west of the village of Luccombe.

A series of earthworks survives.[2] It is a scheduled ancient monument.[3]
