Goodleigh is a hamlet about half a mile north-east of Bodmiscombe in the east of Devon.

The name of the place appears to be from the Old English words Goda and leah meaning 'Goda's meadow, after an otherwsie unnkown landowner of Anglo-Saxon days.[1] There is village of the same name in the north of Devon.
