Bungay

Bungay is a jaunty market town in Suffolk. It lies at the neck of a loop in the River Waveney, which marks the border with Norfolk. It stands five and a half miles west of Beccles, on the edge of the Broads. Bungay has an unusually large number of hairdressers, antique shops, food outlets and pubs and a wide range of specialist shops.

The parish church, Holy Trinity, has a late Anglo-Saxon round tower, the remainder being mediæval. (Read more)
