The Rose Garden in Tralee, County Kerry

Tralee

Tralee is the county town of County Kerry, and the largest town in the county. It stands on the northern side of the neck of the Dingle Peninsula.

Tralee is most famous for the Rose of Tralee International Festival which is held annually in August. It began as a local festival inspired by a 19th-century ballad about a woman called Mary, who for her beauty was called "The Rose of Tralee" (Read more)
