Green Lowther

Green Lowther is a mountain of 2,403 feet in the south of Lanarkshire, a mile from the border with Dumfriesshire. It is in the Lowther Hills, of which range it is the highest peak.

Green Lowther and Lowther Hill (the latter marking the shire border) may be considered one mountain, their peaks linked by a mile-long ridge which does not drop below 2,100 feet and which extends further north-east to Dungrain Law. (Read more)
