The Boa Island and Lustymore figures on Boa Island, Fermanagh

Boa Island

Boa Island is an inland island near the north shore of Lower Lough Erne in Fermanagh, almost sixteen miles from the county town, Enniskillen.

Boa is the largest island in Lough Erne; approximately five miles long, and relatively narrow. The A47 road goes through the length of the island, joining each end of the island to the mainland by bridges leading west toward Castle Caldwell and east toward Kesh.

The Boa Island carved stones, graveyard, and enclosure are Scheduled Historic Monuments. (Read more)
