Wellbrook Beetling MillWellbrook Beetling Mill is found at Corkhill in Tyrone. It is the last working water-powered beetling mill remaining, beetling being the beating of material with heavy mallets, for Ulster's linen industry. The mill is driven from the waters of the Ballinderry River, which rushes down the verdant valley here. The mill is in the care of the National Trust, displaying the working mill and a scenic setting within a wooded glen. (Read more) |
