The Great Garden of New Place in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire

New Place

New Place was William Shakespeare's final place of residence in Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire, and he died there on 23 April 1616.

Though the house no longer exists, the land is owned by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and is maintained as a sumptuous garden. (Read more)
