Fume Point
Fume Point is a low-lying lava headland forming the south-eastern point of Zavodovski Island in the South Sandwich Islands, the volcanic chain in the territory of South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands.
The headland was surveyed from HMS Protector in 1962 and 1964. The name applied by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee in 1971 refers to the dangerous volcanic fumes emitted in this locality.
