Freshwater, Isle of Wight

Freshwater is a large village at the western end of the Isle of Wight in Hampshire. The village is on Freshwater Bay on the south coast of the island; the region known as the Back of the Wight.

This western end of the island is a popular tourist area. The Poet Laureate Alfred Lord Tennyson made his home here. (Read more)
