Culross Abbey

Culross Abbey is a former Cistercian abbey in Culross, Fife, which has been reformed and transformed for use as the local parish church by the Church of Scotland.

The abbey was founded in 1217 by Malcolm I, Earl of Fife, and colonised by monks from Kinloss Abbey, apparently to honour the alleged birthplace of St Mungo. (Read more)
