River Nore

The River Nore is a 87-mile-long river that flows from a source in County Tipperary, through County Kilkenny (where it forms the focus of the county town, Kilkenny) to the sea in Waterford Harbour.

The river drains approximately 977 square miles of Leinster, and along with the River Suir and River Barrow, it is one of the constituent rivers of the group known as the Three Sisters. (Read more)
