Coleraine

Coleraine is a large town in County Londonderry near to the mouth of the River Bann. It is fifty-five miles northwest of Belfast and thirty miles east of Londonderry.

Coleraine stands at the lowest bridgeable point of the River Bann, where the river is a quarter of a mile wide, and the town has a marina on the river estuary. In the town square, called 'The Diamond', stands the Town Hall and the town's main church, St Patrick's (Church of Ireland) stands nearby. (Read more)
