Lintzford is a small, pretty village in County Durham, on the River Derwent. It is in a rural location in the north of the county, near the town of Consett, and southwest of Rowlands Gill.

This village is renowned for its beauty, derived from nearby streams, forests and open fields, and the typical cottage houses that surround it.
