Approaching Leesthorpe along Leesthorpe Road

Leesthorpe is a hamlet in south-east Leicestershire, close to the border with Rutland. The hamlet lies just south of the A606 Melton Mowbray to Oakham road.

It forms part of the ancient parish of Pickwell with Leesthorpe. The corresponding civil parish was merged with that of Somerby in 1936. It remains within the ecclesiastical parish of Pickwell in the Diocese of Leicester.
