World's End is an area in north-eastern Middlesex, a village now contiguous with the metropolis either side by distinguished nevertheless by its position forming a link between the townscape of Enfield to the east and that of Oakwood to the west. The open countryside of Hog Hill and Trent Park lie to the north and northwest, while Enfield Golf Club spreads green to the south.
It is found south-west of Enfield, essentially residential street, with a small shopping parade off Slades Hill.
The name is whimsical name for a dwelling or piece of land considered to be in a remote spot or situated on the boundary of the parish (as this is).[1] World's End Lane runs north-south along the western edge of Grange Park.
