The River Rede

The River Rede is a river in Northumberland, in the Cheviot Hills.

The river rises on Carter Fell, a hill at the county's northern boundary with Roxburghshire (55°20’35"N, 2°28’1"W), and feeds Catcleugh Reservoir. Emerging from the reservoir, the waters flow down to join the River North Tyne below the village of Redesmouth (55°7’55"N, 2°13’17"W)[1]
